I am an Afro-Latinx Queer Femme and I love creating work that reflects my love of natural materials and sustainable practices that have been practiced by BIPOC people for generations. I make gemstone shakers and use cotton African wax prints in my wall art as well as garden and plant items I upcycle into home decor. I love looking at materials and giving them new life or re-imagining the ways in which markers of the diaspora can be incorporated into people’s homes. I get a lot of inspiration from my dreams to create work people can engage with their senses with. I believe art should be accessible to all and I try to incorporate that from production to pricing. My goal with creating home decor items and accessories is to make things that last but also have a story behind them.

I love creating work that reflects on my love of natural materials and I get a lot of inspiration from my dreams to create work people can engage with their senses and take with them in all forms. Whether it is handmade and handcrafted jewelry or everyday accessories I see all the things I make as a form of art that people can engage with and appreciate.
